  1. What is the file upload limit for dropbox?

    Dropbox does not limit file uploads unless you set it to via the Settings page. The default setting is 300 kilobytes per file. You can increase or decrease the setting's value. Dropbox has reportedly upload files over 1 gigabyte in size. Theoretically it can upload any sized file, as long as your server has the resources to handle it and an ISP connection is present.

  2. How do I set the Dropbox template to require my custom form fields?

    In your saf.html file, just beneath the opening <form> tag, use the following tag:

    <input type="Text" name="required" value="name,email">

    enter all names of form fields that you wish to set as required. Separate each with a comma, and use no spaces.

  3. How many File upload buttons can I add to the upload form?

    As many as you like, or as many as you think the server can handle. If your receiving files sized 200-300 kilobytes each, 5 - 10 upload fields should not be a problem.

  4. What types of files can our customers send us?

    Every type. Period. If it's a file, it can be transferred by dropbox.

  5. Can we limit the types of files we will accept?

    Yes, in the Settings, in the File types accepted parameter, enter all the file extensions you accept. Use the keyword "ALL" in uppercase to accept all types of files.

  6. Can we limit the types of files we will accept?

    Yes, in the Settings, in the File types accepted parameter, enter all the file extensions you accept. Use the keyword "ALL" in uppercase to accept all types of files.

  7. How does Dropbox work?

    Dropbox transfers data over the HTTP protocol. All websites are based on this same protocol (HyperText Transfer Protocol). Hence anyone that can view a webpage, can send you files.

  8. What's the difference between the two Administration levels?

    The subordinate administrator cannot access the File Upload settings page in the Admin section.
