Okay, so you've got 300 directories and 3000 files on your server. You know you put the bosses presentation Word document on the server but you can't remember where, it will take you all day to root through all the directories on your server to find it. No problem. Perl Services to the rescue! Put Site File Finder on your server and you can simply enter a file name or directory name and the program will search every single folder from your main web space folder on down through all levels of sub-folders until it finds it. The program will then return the exact path to the script so you can quickly retrieve it. All you have to do to install this program is FTP it in ASCII mode into your cgi-bin or other executable directory, chmod 755 and then call it in your browser. That's it! There is no demo for the program, as we don't want everyone rooting around our server, however, the program is available free and we are sure your going to love it!
